Prepare for an adventure of dramatic contrasts! Start in Chongqing, the viral “8D Cyberpunk City,” where you will see trains passing through residential buildings and explore the majestic Wulong Karst (filming location of Transformers 4). Then, transfer to the relaxed vibes of Chengdu before boarding the high-speed train to the alpine wonderland. You will marvel at the golden pools of Huanglong and the dreamlike scenery of Jiuzhaigou. The journey concludes with the ultimate cuteness—Giant Pandas—and a dive into Chengdu’s trendy streets. This tour perfectly blends urban excitement with natural tranquility.
Welcome to Chongqing! Upon arrival, our driver will transfer you to your hotel. Prepare to be amazed by this vertical city built on mountains, famous for its spicy hot pot and stunning night views.
Drive to Wulong to explore the Three Natural Bridges, a UNESCO site and filming location for Transformers 4. Walk into the giant limestone pits and feel the power of nature. Later, visit Fairy Mountain (Xiannüshan), an alpine grassland often compared to the “Switzerland of the East.”
Today is a deep dive into Chongqing’s magic! Visit the historic Ciqikou Ancient Town, watch the famous Liziba Monorail pass through a building, and enjoy the artistic vibes at Eling Testbed 2. Walk the Shancheng Trail and see the “Spirited Away” style Hongya Cave. In the evening, transfer to Chengdu (approx. 1.5-2 hours by high-speed train).
Board the high-speed train from Chengdu to the plateau. Upon arrival, visit Huanglong National Park, famous for its colorful calcified pools. Afterward, transfer to Jiuzhaigou Entrance for a good night’s rest.
Spend a full day in the mesmerizing Jiuzhaigou Valley. Hop on eco-buses to see the crystal-clear lakes, multi-tiered waterfalls, and snow-capped peaks. The scenery here is so surreal it feels like a painting come to life.
Visit Songpan Ancient Town, a historic garrison town on the tea-horse road. Then, take the bullet train back to Chengdu, enjoying the swift transition from mountains to the modern metropolis.
The grand finale: Chengdu Panda Base to see the Giant Pandas! Return to the city to relax at a teahouse in People’s Park, stroll through Kuanzhai Alley, and shop at the trendy Taikoo Li & Chunxi Road.
