This exclusive 6-day itinerary utilizes the new high-speed railway to whisk you from Chengdu to the alpine majesty of Northern Sichuan in just over an hour. You will witness the surreal blue waters of Jiuzhaigou and the golden travertine pools of Huanglong without the travel fatigue. The journey concludes with the classic “Must-Dos” in Chengdu: intimate encounters with Giant Pandas and a deep dive into the city’s trendy Taikoo Li and historic alleys. It is the perfect blend of nature, comfort, and culture.
Welcome to Chengdu! Upon arrival, our private driver will transfer you to your hotel. Rest up and prepare for the highland adventure, or take a casual evening stroll to feel the relaxed pulse of this city.
Board the high-speed train for a scenic ride into the mountains. Upon arrival, we drive to Huanglong National Park (Yellow Dragon). Marvel at the calcified pools that look like a golden dragon winding through the forest. Later, we transfer to the entrance of Jiuzhaigou for a good night’s sleep.
Today is dedicated to Jiuzhaigou Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Hop on the eco-bus to witness the crystal-clear turquoise lakes, multi-tiered waterfalls (like Nuorilang), and colorful forests. The water is so clear it mirrors the sky—truly a “Fairyland on Earth.”
After a fresh mountain breakfast, we transfer to the railway station for the high-speed train back to Chengdu. Enjoy the changing landscapes from the window. The rest of the day is free for you to relax in Chengdu.
Meet the adorable Giant Pandas in the morning at the Panda Base. Then, return to the city to experience the contrast of old and new: sip tea at People’s Park, wander the historic Kuanzhai Alley, and finally, shop and snap photos at the trendy IFS/Taikoo Li fashion district.
Enjoy your final morning in Chengdu. Our driver will transfer you to the airport or train station for your departure, bringing your memorable Sichuan adventure to a smooth close.
