1. INTRODUCTION

These Terms and Conditions constitute the service agreement between you and GOCHINA SELECT LTD (trading as GOCHINAVIP). By booking a tour or service with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.

2. BOOKING AND PAYMENT TERMS

2.1 Confirmation: Your booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit and our issuance of a written booking confirmation.

2.2 Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total tour price is required to secure your reservation.

2.3 Balance Payment: The remaining balance must be cleared no later than 7 days prior to the tour start date. Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in the cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of the deposit.

2.4 Late Bookings: For reservations made within 7 days of departure, full payment is required immediately upon booking.

2.5 Payment Methods: We accept payments in USD (US Dollars) via secure third-party payment processors (such as Stripe) and major credit/debit cards. We ensure that your payment data is handled in accordance with international security standards.

3. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

3.1 Cancellation by You:
You may cancel your booking at any time by notifying us in writing at contact@gochinavip.com. Cancellation fees apply based on the date of notification:

• More than 30 days before departure: 100% refund of the total price, less a 5% handling fee (to cover administrative and transaction costs).
• 8 to 30 days before departure: 50% of the total price will be retained.
• 7 days or less before departure (including No Show): No refund will be issued (100% charged).

3.2 Cancellation by Us:
We reserve the right to cancel any tour due to Force Majeure or operational requirements. In such events, we will refund all payments made to us, less any unrecoverable costs (e.g., non-refundable tickets or prepaid hotel deposits). We are not liable for incidental expenses such as visas or international flights.

4. PRICING AND CURRENCY

All prices are quoted in USD. Prices are guaranteed upon full payment, except in the event of significant government tax changes or extreme currency fluctuations.

5. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS AND INSURANCE

5.1 Documentation: You are responsible for obtaining a valid passport (minimum 6 months validity) and the appropriate visa for entry into China.

5.2 Mandatory Insurance: Comprehensive travel insurance is a mandatory condition of booking. Your policy must cover personal injury, medical expenses, repatriation, and cancellation. We reserve the right to request proof of insurance and may decline service if adequate coverage is not in place.

6. CLIENT CONDUCT

We reserve the right to terminate your tour immediately if your behavior is deemed likely to cause distress, danger, or annoyance to other clients, our employees, or third parties. In such cases, no refund will be given, and we shall have no further liability to you.

7. LIABILITY AND DISCLAIMER

7.1 GOCHINA SELECT LTD acts as an agent for third-party suppliers (hotels, transport, guides). We accept liability for the proper performance of our contract with you.

7.2 We are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage resulting from:

• Your own negligence or that of a third party unconnected with the provision of our services.
• Force Majeure events (e.g., war, pandemics, natural disasters, adverse weather).
• Loss or theft of personal property.

8. ITINERARY AMENDMENTS

While we strive to adhere to the confirmed itinerary, local conditions in China (weather, traffic, closures) may necessitate changes. We reserve the right to modify the itinerary to ensure the safety and quality of the tour.

9. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
